Today, July 26, 2008, at 2:00 pm mst Two well known authors from Idaho were in Boise at Rediscovered bookshop to sign their new anthology book “Barren Worlds”.
The Authors were Ken McConnell and Mary Ellen Martin.
Ken as you know lives here in Boise and Mary Ellen lives in Moscow.
The event started with Mary Ellen reading a selection of her story “Tiger’s Eye View”.
After Mary Ellen finished it was Ken’s turn.
The Crowd, which was too large to count, was enthralled by both of these master writers. I am still amazed by the reaction of the crowd.
After the reading the Authors answered questions from the crowd.
After the questions the Authors stayed around to talk to the throngs of adoring fans and continued to please everyone.
All in all it was a amazing, nearly life changing, day. I look forward to reading the entire book, and I impatiently await the next works of these two amazing authors.
If you would like to see the larger version of these pictures as well as several more I took at the event, head over to my flickr page.
